Rules and Info for membership.

 We have 3 forms of membership. Individual, club or organization, and business. Each type of membership is diffrent and have requirements to join. Below are some basic rules we ask you to follow when joining. Also below are the rules for submitting tech info or projects. Club and business members can join by clicking here. All individuals can click the membership link to the left.

Individual membership:

 1. You must own a Jeep brand vehicle. It does not matter if it is a Wrangler or Cherokee, It just has to be a Jeep.

 2. No spamming on the forum. Do not post links to a business web site unless someone is asking about where to get a product (i.e. seeing something on eBay that someone posted they wanted.)

 3. When using the forum, treat others as you wish to be treated, don’t be rude to other members. This will get you banned.

 4. Don’t abuse the classifieds. We offer this as a free service, and there should be no business listing with out prior permission. Be as descriptive as you can about the item you are selling or wanting. Add a small picture to helps people know what your have. When you offer to sell or buy from someone on our classifieds, be careful when completing the deal. We can not and will not be held responsible for any loss or damages, is “AT YOUR OWN RISK!”

 5. When on an event, conduct your self in a manner that is not offensive. Follow all the rules of the event, and help out your fellow Jeeper when he or she needs it. They just might be the one to help you out when you need it.

 Club Listing Membership:

 1. If your club has a web site, we ask that you include a small logo at the bottom of your main page that shows you are part of our network. This logo will be sent with your welcome e-mail.

 2. We ask that you encourage your members to come to our site to join as an individual member. This will let them know about events in other parts of Indiana.

 3. Linking to tech info or project: You may not copy and repost our information on your site. We ask that you place a link to the information or the main page of our project or tech info. We will do the same for your site unless you ask us to host this information. Once we host the tech info or projects they become property or Hoosier Jeep Owners Club.

 4. We would like if at least the founders Jeep has our logo decal on it. Just another way to get the word out. But this is not required.

5. The founder of the club, or the club as a hole has to be Jeep related. Although as a general rule we would like only Jeep related clubs to be listed.

6. We would also like to have our forum as the main forum for the state, again this is not required to join. Just another service we offer to help keep your demand on resources low.

7. We have a free classified ads section on the site. Feel free to use this site for your classified ads, just remember to place a link on your site for this.

8. If you wish to sell your club logo related items in our online store (i.e. decals, shirts, hats ect.) there will be a small fee for this. We will handle the orders, but you must ship the items

.You must include all contact information. Contact name, address, phone number, we address and e-mail. and membership fees.

Business Members:

1. You must submit a logo (small) for us to link to your store or business, (if you have a web site

2. You must provide a description. of the services you offer.

3. Your business. MUST be Jeep related.

4. If offering a discount to members, it must be on goods you sell, and can give a code during checkout.

5. Place a link to our site in your links section.

6. In good faith, honor all transactions to the best of your ability.

Fees and payments:

 We are free to join, and there are no membership fees for any level of member. We are a free site offering our services to Indiana Jeepers, Clubs, and Businesses. The only thing we charge for is use of our store by clubs, and the cost of decals and logo related items. At no time will we ask for a membership fee. If you are ever asked to pay to be a member of our site, or someone claiming to represent our site contacts you about paying for anything pertaining to our site please contact us.
